Coronavirus (COVID-19) Support and Guidance

General Guidance and FAQS:

The Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person.  The virus that causes COVID-19 is a novel coronavirus that was first identified during an investigation into an outbreak in China.

Risk of infection from the virus that causes COVID-19 is higher for people who are close contacts of someone to have COVID-19, for example healthcare workers or household members.  Other people at higher risk of infection are those who live in or have recently been in an area with ongoing spread of COVID-19.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is actively monitoring this outbreak and updating its website frequently.

Spring Creek ISD will continue to be in communication with our local partners, Region 16 Education Service Center, and the Texas Commissioner of Education to take all appropriate measures to ensure the safety and health of our students, faculty, and staff.

In addition, our custodial staff will also continue to deep clean and disinfect our campus buildings each day with the best products to help offset the spread of communicable illnesses.  We are still in the midst of cold and flu season, so it is extremely important for families to take preventative measures to safeguard themselves from the spread of communicable diseases.
